Make a wish!
Molly's Graduation!! Yesterday the family got together to celebrate Molly and her wonderful achievements and hard work in getting her Master's Degree in psychology. Grammy and Darcy came from Nevada and it was great having everyone together! Molly looked so happy and I think she is amazing for working so hard! We had a nice dinner at Spaghetti Factory and enjoyed a little knertz game after dinner which was a lot of fun!

Around the Homestead: Little bits and pieces of our daily life...
I potted up my tomatoes again into some pots I scrounged around the farm. They are looking big and healthy in their new big pots, but it's been so cold lately (2 nights of snow...) I don't put them outside even during the day but hopefully that will change this coming week. I love how Avenlea loves to wear that "packpack". She brings it in the car, wears it around the house, and packs her "phone" (the lid to Chloe's singing tea pot) inside so she doesn't miss a call lol!
I made cream cheese! Nate asked me to make him a home made cheese cake with home made ingredients for his birthday. I had to learn to culture buttermilk to make cream cheese and sour cream and the actual cheesecake - it was a big undertaking but a good learning experience. The cheesecake itself was a bit of a mess but I'm not giving up and maybe one day we'll have yummy homemade cheesecake for Nate's birthday!
Cutie Zeyta eating like a champ as usual - she loved her first spaghetti with sauce on it and made a lovely little mess!
Cutie getting kisses from Daddy after bathtime
Blain has a nice bruise on his face after a big collision with the back of Chloe's head on the trampoline. It's definitely healing up and he gets a lot of questions about the whole ordeal but he's been really tough about the whole situation
Chloe helping out on the farm - she is such a good helper! She was helping take out the hinge pins for the new gate in this picture. She loves getting the eggs, filling the water trough, bringing straw for the chicken coop and cow stalls, and when she gets a choice for chores she tells me she wants to do outside chores rather than inside ones. I'm right there with you Chloe. I spent an hour weeding the strawberry patch in the rain rather than wash dishes the other day... I can't wait to get to spend more time with this cutie this summer and do all sorts of fun things together, teach her new things, and make fun memories!
