Happy Birthday Avenlea!!

Avenlea turns 1: We had the family over for Avenlea's 1st birthday on the 30th for a taco bar dinner and Avenlea's first cake and ice cream. It was nice to even have some out of towners (grandma and grandpa Moyeda, Grammy and Darcey and Milly) since baby Summer's blessing was the next day. We had lots of baby help getting ready for the big day and it was great to celebrate our sweet Avenlea with her loved ones.

 Frosting the cake - I messed up the first attempt of the cake when I couldn't get it out of the pan, but this one turned out pretty good. We turned the first one into cake pops!

Cake Time: We sat little Avenlea on the table with her very own little cake. She dug in a little big and liked the frosting, but when she tried to stand up and put her hands in the cake she got pretty upset so we called it good, washed her up in the tub, and fed her some cake and ice cream in the high chair.

Presents: Avenlea was a good little girl opening her presents. She got lots of nice things from the family including lots of toys and clothes and books.
