Thanksgiving weekend was a blast but first, some cute baby moments...
Avenlea's preferred position to sleep in daddy's arms - she buries her little face completely in his arm and chest. I always get worried but he leaves her an air hole so I guess it's ok. What a funny baby.
Oh no it's starting early, really early this time

Cutest picture of Blain and Chloe
Sisters!
Blain is the messiest eater in the house and this picture shows why his hands are ALWAYS sticky; he likes to "help" the food in after he uses his fork. Kind of ironic because sometimes when he realizes his hands are yucky he cries and asks for help washing them so he can continue eating, only to get them just as messy.
Chloe is taking after her Mommy and could eat spaghetti every day. We have it for lunch a lot now that it's cold and we don't picnic outside everyday. Spaghetti for lunch is great because they will both eat it and because I prefer hot lunch to sandwhiches during the winter months.
Cracky has claimed "grandma's bed" as his own because we won't let him in our room or Chloe and Blain's room. So Avenlea gets to share her nap time bed with him. The plus to this little arrangement is I can move Cracky over and put Avenlea in his spot and it's already nice and warm for her.
Thanksgiving!! We had Thanksgiving at Em's house this year with the Mitchell family. It was supposed to be my year for Thanksgiving and Nate's for Christmas but we decided to switch so we could have a holiday with my dad. I failed to get a picture of the actual dinner and food, my camera sat in it's bag a lot more than I had planned, but here are some fun things we did this weekend.
Our contributions: we made an apple crisp, apple pie and mashed potatoes.
Chloe helping bake the Apple crisp
Apple crisp made from 3 jars of our apple pie filling - next time I need to do less because it overflowed a little while cooking.
Nate working on his apple pie - 1 1/2 jars
Finished but unbaked - it was as tasty as it was beautiful.
Chloe's first HAIRCUT and MOVIE at the THEATER! Well, the haircut was more like a trim. My dad got out his pocketknife scissors and trimmed her hair while she was busy eating spaghetti. I was against it at first but it does look more tidy now. It's just taken her so long to get any length at all that it's sad to see even a little bit of it go... but in happier news Chloe went to the movie theater for the first time. Grammy took her and her cousin Milly to see Frozen. Grammy reported back that Chloe was very cute and loved the moviea nd movie snacks. Uncle Jonny reported back that she was a little too talkative and excited during the movie. Still, I'm glad she got to go and had a good time.

Chloe and Grammy going to the movie - why oh why does she always have such weird faces for the camera...
Craft Time: Stacey had the fun idea to do a Christmas craft together and it turned out to be really cute. Once I figured out what it was I really liked the idea and now have a baby proof nativity displayed on our piano.
The girls painting our blocks
Finished product - pretty good for me considering my lack of creative abilities
Blain's uncles helped build him cup castles to nock down. He was in heaven.
Wait for it...
Yay he did it!
Yeah for the craft! It looks so cute!
