So much fun!!

I can't believe this summer is almost over - the kiddos start school next week. But here is a little from our last month or so.
I have a similar picture of Avenlea a couple years ago so when I saw her sitting in the little bath I had to capture it!
Blain earned his Ducky pass at Scera pool! He had to swim 2 lengths of the pool, one on his back one forward, then tread water for one minute, then float on his back for a minute. He was so proud and happy to have that Ducky pass!
Uncle Sam stayed for a couple days after Bear Lake and all my kiddos loved it, especially Avenlea!
Chloe's team played in the Park City tournament. They did awesome and went undefeated until the Championship game. Good work girls!!

Deer Creek: We've been so excited since the canoe arrived and we finally went with the Mellars to Deer Creek. It was so fun paddling around to the island and watching my sweet kiddos in their little kayaks.
 Avenlea and Aunt Melissa
The water was way too low for this rope swing to be effective but they had fun just the same swinging around, giving me a heart attack as they swung out over the rocks
Zeyta was so good sitting still in the kayak while we paddled and had fun playing in the sand
Avenlea was a little champ paddling in sync with me, I was super impressed
 Mud pies!

Kids obstacle Race: We signed up to run an obstacle race with Chloe and Blain which was a lot of fun
 Blain jumping off an obstacle
 Traversing the rockwall
 Mission impossible
 Tire hop
 Congrats on finishing!!

Geocaching! This was one of the Utah Geotour cache's which usually have really fun kids toys inside
 Reading before bed
Hanging out with Kiya and Darius

Backpacking Clyde Lake Loop: What an amazing trip! Blain did awesome on his first trip. He rocked it up the hills and loved leading the way. Chloe was so cute showing him the ropes and carried all her own gear this year! The new packs were great and the trail and area was beautiful.
 Passing the first lake
Chloe fishing at Clyde Lake - she fished every spare minute we had
Nate with his catch of the trip a cute little Brook Trout
Getting rained on all the way hiking out!

Loleta and Redwoods trip: It was great visiting the town I grew up in and exploring the redwoods which have such a special place in my heart.
On our way up to the first sleeping spot (air b&B) we drove through Avenue of the Giants stopping for a picnic lunch and an amazing hike called CHildren's forest hike. The trail went past a river and over the bridge to some of the biggest trees we saw on our trip!
Crossing the bridge to meet up with the trail into the redwoods.
Funny Daddy making a bridge across the huge trees!
Hollow log! It was burned on the inside so we had some dirty babies on the hike out!
Playing at my old school Loleta Elementary
EAting meals around the campsite at our big group site at Grizzly creek campground
The river was so close to our campsite! Even though it was super cold these cuties still went in and swam for a while
We went to 3 or 4 (or maybe more!) parks on the trip. This one was in Fortuna right next to a fun soccer field.
Crossing the monkey bars all by herself!
Blain and I went geocaching in the forest right next to this park. It was a really fun hike to get to it - climbing down tree roots and across logs.
This park in Eureka was right next to the redwoods with a nice trail perfect for the kids
Going down the Big Slide with Daddy!
Patrick's point was fun but the water was too dangerous to go in, but not for splashing! They played and raced the waves making sure not to go past their knees. There were tons of agates on the beach that were fun to find.
Sweet Avenlea
Me and my boy
Awesome handstand Blain!

Bear Lake: This was so great spending a few nights at bear lake. When we go back I definitely want to stay for more days but what a great trip!
The house we rented had awesome play equipment for the kids - sandbox, slides, swings, monkey bars, play house. It was amazing.
We brought canoes, paddle boards, kayaks and inflatable rafts for an unforgettable day in the waters of bear lake. The water was so nice and not too cold! We had some fun kayak races and didn't want to leave!
Chloe paddling Zeyta on the paddle board
Cousins on the floating island
Gaming it up! Blain loved playing Bang with the group
We had so many families come it was amazing!
