August Update

August has been so much fun filled with lots of family activities and fun in the sun! I can't believe school starts in one week for Chloe! Here's the last little bits of our summer!

Visit from the Lueck Family: Aunt Julie and my cousins came for a nice visit in the beginning of August. They came up to our house for the day to help with some chores and tour the farm. It was nice getting to sit and talk with Aunt Julie and I loved all the help from Hunter, Tanner and Spencer.

Thanks Spencer for my beautifully cut lawn!
The next day we all went to Scera park for a day of swimming and water slides. Hunter was so nice taking Blain down the big slide a bunch of times and Aunt Julie and Em both helped out with my little ones so I could take Chloe down the slide a couple times. Hanging out in the pool always makes for a nice day!

Zeyta loving her day in the sun!
After the pool Aunt Julie was so nice to get us all a snow cone treat! Of course Blain was in heaven and enjoyed every bite of his rainbow slushy!
 And some Chloe love!

Around the house: The babies have been having lots of fun playing in the enchanted forrest, jumping on the trampoline, helping out with chores, and lately building a dam in front of the chicken coop! We have also been taking a crack at potty training Avenlea in sessions when we have a day at home. Zeyta thinks she needs to sit on the potty too, silly baby!

Wendy bought Chloe a kite while she was here visiting and Chloe has been taking it out and having a blast flying it around the yard! She has learned to put the poles in herself, attach the string, and fold it up afterwards and put it away. She is really good at sharing with Blain and Avenlea, starting the kite for them and also letting them start it for her. I just love watching them run around the yard, it makes all the work in maintaining it (moving the sprinkler 3 or more times per day, mowing, raking grass clippings...) worth it!

Happy Anniversary to my True Love: Nate and I had a nice anniversary this year. On the 11th I took the kiddos down to provo for a day at Seven Peaks with the Mellars and then came back in time for a pizza dinner and watching the Olympics and a meteor shower! We went out around midnight to watch the shooting stars and it was so awesome! There were tons of shooting stars and we had a nice time laying there talking and making wishes :) The flash on the phone was so bright I couldn't look at it but here's what we got.
The next day Melissa and her kiddos came up to watch our babies so we could have a night out to ourselves. We headed down to Provo to watch the new Star Wars movie with a bunch of treats, then back up to Midway for a cheese tasting and tour of the facility. I loved learning how they make the cheese and it tasted better than any cheese I've had in my life. I have to admit it felt really cool to raise my hand when he asked if anyone has ever made cheese before. It made me want to learn to make really yummy cheese like they do!!

Me eating my favorite cheese which turned out to be a garlic cheddar. I can't even describe how creamy and rich the flavors were. I highly recommend cheese tasting at Heber Valley Artisan Cheese!
you can't see it in this picture but this was after the cheese tasting eating a yummy ice cream cone!
Happiest 9 years of my life!!! Happy Anniversary!!

A day at the Park: Today we got all ready to head down to Seven peaks with Melissa and her family but when I was pulling up our passes on my phone I saw that the water park was closed. I had some sad babies so I took them to the park on main street instead which made up for it a little bit. It was tons of fun watching Blain play with some little boys his own age, and as always Chloe was the best big sister taking Avenlea and Zeyta down the slides and spinning them on the net. Zeyta was super giggly in her swing and loved crawling around on the fake grass. I'm gonna miss all the free time we have in the summer but at the same time it'll be nice to get back on a schedule when school starts back up.
 WHEE!
 Laughing little one year old
They had a lot of fun riding that spinning net! I spun them a couple times and got them all laughing pretty good. Avenlea is so funny just hanging there and holding on with all her baby might.
Zeyta making the rounds to all the low playground toys
Avenlea was so brave this time at the park! She went down the big slides by herself, across the shaky bridge and on the big girl swing!
Blain playing lions with a little boy he met at the net
 Choo Choo down the slide!
Blain fell off the hammock in the enchanted forrest so I cobanned a flexible ice pack to his head. He is so cute when he's sad I can't help take his picture
And here is him happy sharing a yummy blackberry with Daddy and Pablo
