Fat Cats Bowling: These cuties had a blast bowling. Blain was done after 7 or so frames but he stuck it out and played 2 full games with "the boys" (Damian and Darius) and did really well! I have a video of one of his spares and the cute little dance he did. Chloe was a good sport and even threw the ball down the lane a couple times but did like using the ramp. Avenlea liked picking a different color ball each time and Zeyta liked spinning in the chairs around the table.

Stadium of Fire: I went to Stadium of Fire with Em this year and it was AMAZING! I'd never been before and was blown away by the fireworks, parachuters, and of course TIM MCGRAW!! He was so good and did all my favorite songs! It was fun wearing matching shirts with all the girls, courtesy of Melissa, and spending a night out with family.

Bouncy House: Grammy rented a bounce house with water slide and that kept the kiddos busy all day! We had yummy smoked burgers by Theron (soo good!) and enjoyed hearing all the laughter from those kiddos all day.

Avenlea didn't really like the big bouncy house with all the big kids jostling her around so she and Summer played at the water table, mini bouncy house, and bubbles.
Balls!

Talent Show: Grammy added a talent show to this years Cousin Camp and it was very entertaining! There were a lot of unique talents including artwork, dancing, singing, and piano. Avenlea was supposed to sing her Under the Sea Ariel song but decided to be in a bad mood and throw her Ariel doll instead of singing. But we enjoyed the talents that made it onto the stage :)
Blain really wanted to show off his treasure for his talent so while I went and grabbed his treasure box Nate had him stand up and define big words which I only caught the tail end of but the vidoes are hilarious. "What does extemporaneous mean?" " Oh Extemporaneous, that is probably like a robot that can do somersaults".
Chloe played a couple songs on the piano that she learned herself and is self motivated to practice all the time. I'm probably a bad mom because I feel like I'm always telling her she can't play when her sisters are napping. But she loves to play even if she can't do lessons for a while and she is learning so much with just what Nate and I can teach her.
4th of July: We all headed up to Molly's house for a day of swimming and fireworks. Molly made delicious kebobs for dinner and we let Chloe, Blain and Zeyta stay up way too late. Sweet Avenlea fell asleep around 6 and slept through all the fun poor tired baby.

Playing in the pool!
Nate was put on water balloon duty and filled up tons of water balloons for an epic water balloon fight. Little Avenlea always so worried about everything, worried about missing the water balloons, then worried about walking through the wet grass, then worried about holding the balloon... Silly sweetie
All the kids loved that Zebra!
Chloe checked off one of her resolutions... she learned how to SWIM! She did so good swimming the width of the pool with no floaties and without touching the ground. She swam under water and with her face out, I was so so proud of her. Once she got the kicking and paddling her arms to sync she did really well. Chloe is growing up so fast, my baby Chloe swimming!!

Sparklers! Chloe somehow got a little burn on her hand which started to bleed, and Molly has now banned her from fireworks at her house since last year she got burned too!

Farm and Family: And a little around the homestead
We are harvesting berries and veggies and getting lots of eggs! I get about 3 raspberries a day, but the strawberries have slowed down, only getting a couple every 3 days or so.
Avenlea gave me a little scare when she woke up with a sore throat and a fever of 101. I took her in and she does not have strep but she has been extra tired and if she doesn't get her nap will fall asleep around 7 right before her i pad time.
I have these 2 pictures but she has been doing this quite a bit, even tonight right next to her daddy!
Nate and his friend went fishing and Nate got a big rainbow trout! I have since buried the guts and head in the garden to hopefully boost our tomato plants and froze the fillets. And I made him promise me he would wear a life vest so I'm glad he has the picture proof!
Home made sushi with home made cream cheese! This was my best batch yet! I used 3 cups of cream to one cup of milk, one cube of cultured buttermilk, and heated it to 89 degrees. It set all night and then strained for about 24 hours. It was a really good consistency and delicious in the sushi and on bagels!
Chloe made that pinata in spanish class and filled it with left over easter candy that had been forgotten. We did a progressive number of turns so they each got a good amount of turns and had lots of fun doing a little home made pinata.
Walked in from the kitchen after doing dishes and saw these little sneakers getting into the pinata candy!!
I love seeing all your pictures! You have an awesome family
