Happy Thanksgiving 2015

Trip to Grammy's: We went to Spring Creek Nevada to Grammy's house for Thanksgiving this year. There was lots of food and family - the 2 best things about Thanksgiving! It's nice that Grammy has moved closer these past couple years so now the drive takes us about 5 hours with various potty breaks and a stop for gas. The kiddos had so much fun playing with their cousins all day, getting to eat whatever they wanted if they asked Grammy first ;) and staying up a little late. Nate and I also had a good time playing board games together and with Chloe and Blain, and having long game nights after bedtime. We played Settlers of Catan, knertz, Bang, spaides, Scum, Chess, Battle Ship, Guess Who, War, and Nate played lots of League of Legends after I went to bed each night.

 Zeyta loved this little bumbo/saucer that Grammy has at her house. She would sit and play for long stretches and just make the cutest noises while in there

 The kid table - Grammy made a delicious dinner for us all and we enjoyed the leftovers for the next couple days as well! Being away from home is a nice break from all the daily chores and tasks, and the kids were all so good and slept so well it made for a nice fun and relaxing weekend.

 Eating Thanksgiving Dinner - we tried about 5 different kinds of martinelli's sparkling cider and they were all delicious. I think my favorite was the mango apple and my favorite part of the meal was the sweet potatoes that molly makes. Yum yum :)

 Fun Mitchell Family together - we had our family, Em's family, Abe's family, Darcey's family, and Molly's family all together over the weekend. Other than the sicknesses that got passed around it was really fun. There was a little stomach bug (24 hour) and goopy eyes, sore throat that everyone would catch and then get over pretty quick. Nate missed the worst of it, and I'm the only one that got the stomach bug from our family, but 3/4 babies have goopy eyes and now Nate is starting to get a sore throat. Hope we recover fast!

Tickle test for babies - All the cousins loved Nate's tickle test and waited in line for their turn :) They also loved playing hide and seek together, my little ponies, and Barbie/La La Loopsy dolls/Transformers that Grammy gave them as early Christmas presents since we might not see her again before then.
