Family shot by the "main" waterfall
Me and my babies
Daddy and his big girls
Zeyta was so good and slept the whole time in the carrier. Thank you to everyone who helped me buy my new Ergo 360. It's awesome and I use it everyday!
The surrounding rocks and trees were lots of fun to hike around in as well
One of the scarier stops we did - beautiful but I was nervous for this daredevil the whole time ;)
Blain picked me a wildflower, what a sweet boy
Avenlea just chilling out on the rocks
Playing in the water
The wading area - Chloe informed us that we should have brought her a swim suit and towel so she could go swimming. There little legs got so red from the freezing water but they had a blast.
Zeyta 3 weeks: Zeyta is growing so fast I can't believe it. She has the cutest cheeks and is starting to get a little chub roll on her arm. She is eating all the time and loves to be held. She is so patient with her siblings who are always kissing her and tugging on her and asking to hold her - she rarely cries even when she gets bumped (which is pretty frequent). Blain asks to burp her every time after I feed her and Avenlea sits down and pats her legs and says "baby" meaning she wants to hold her. Chloe loves to pick out her outfit for the day and helps give her a bath.
Sweet sleeping baby
We have started giving her a bottle once a day to get her ready for when I go back to work. Nate does the going to bed feeding after I pump a fresh bottle for her. We've only done it 2 days but it seems to be working well. Her long sleeping stretches have disappeared though, the longest she goes is 3 hours lately. I'm hoping she is just having a growth spurt or something.
Love my little Zeyta Z :)
Blain and Marie climbing the apple tree at Summer's birthday party
Avenlea is also a good climber - she made it all the way up that wall, can climb up onto my bed, and on and off the changing table. She gets so proud of herself everytime she makes it up, raises her hands up in the air and says "yay" or "I did it". She is talking so much more now, mostly just repeating what we say but her own vocabulary is also growing daily.
