Cousin Camp and Happy 4th of July!

Independence Day: We spent most of the day at Molly's finishing up stage 1 of cousin camp, having a BBQ, swimming, and waiting for Momma to come in from the airport!

Around 7 we headed back to our house with the "Moyeda" side to put kids to bed and watch a small fire work show courtesy of Theron. Timmy slept through the whole thing but the other kids had fun!

Potty Training: We've been potty training Blainy for about a week and it's going pretty good, of course the occasional accident, but he does really well sitting on the potty whenever I ask him to and he loves his chocolate chip treat. I tell Chloe she gets a treat too if she encourages him to use the potty, so whenever she hears me telling him to go, she runs from wherever she is to say "good job Blain" and get her chocolate chip too. The only down side to all this is now Blain takes off his pull up in his room to poop at nap time : /

Garden Update: PEAS!!! The peas are big and juicy and in abundance. The long waiting period is over and we are loving eating tons of peas every day. The spinach is out and I am going to put more carrots in that spot. I'll probably harvest the remainder of the radishes this week and put in the zucchini. We ate our biggest head of broccoli in a yummy venison and broccoli Asian dish yesterday. We also have flowers on the tomatoes!!! I can't wait to eat our first tomatoes and start the canning!!!
 Loads of Peas
The hills of pumpkins, squash, cucumbers, cantaloupe and watermelon were getting munched on so I sprinkled my saved egg shells and we haven't lost any more leaves to snails.

Cool weather veggies still growing well, although the weather has been significantly hotter this past week so we'll see if that changes anything.

Cousin Camp: All the cousins on the Mitchell side are here and Grammy is putting on cousin camp! They have been doing lots of crafts, eating "lots of treats" and staying up late. They all made cousin camp shirts and were both super excited to wear them all day after they dried.

Molly got her a black onsie the said "princess fussy pants" for her camp shirt. I think it suites her ;)
