On top of that there is always the looming big term stuff like finish the coop, put up the garden, orchard, and pasture fences, prepare the garden to plant, order trees and plants, and get Betty pregnancy checked to name a few. This homesteading stuff is hard work and a lot to think about but I really am loving every bit of it.
Broccoli starts today
Betty loving up on Avenlea - she licked her twice and Avenlea didn't like it too much
One side finished on the coop. Looks pretty cool with the re used wood.
With added roosts - I still think it should be about twice as big...
Avenlea petting Betty, probably the only person Betty seeks physical contact with.
Chloe's second day of Gymnastics was today and I really don't know if we're gonna keep her in it for the 3 months that we planed. She doesn't follow directions really well and wants to do her own thing and has been whining a lot about her turn, her square, the activity they are doing, etc. I had to bribe her with a treat just to go and be with the rest of the group. Needless to say not really what I was imagining.
When she did participate she looked like she was having a lot of fun. She got to flip on the rings today, practice cartwheels, jump off a springboard and do lots of froggy jumps.
