The start of our summer of fun

Trip to San Diego:

 As a family we flew down to San Diego at the end of June. Nate had a technology conference to go to, so we came along for the ride! 

After arriving at the airport we high tailed in to the world famous San Diego Zoo! We loved seeing all the amazing animals and spending time together. Almost everybody was able to come so it was a good start to a fun week. Picture Wendy took of us in front of the sea turtles.

The beach was a blast. We played in the sun and sand all day - dad flew kites with the babies and said it was the best beach weather day he'd seen in a long time. I did some body surfing and played in the water with the babies. Nate took one for the team and went to his classes to learn how to integrate technology into the classroom, exciting I know. 

We went out to BBQ one night at a place near Yuv's apartment. Chloe and her cousins had tons of fun running around together and playing in the fountain This is where Grandpa made a growling noise when Chloe put her fingers in his drink. She covered her face and cried - he felt bad but it was so funny to see her reaction I almost think it was worth it. I guess now she knows not to put her sticky BBQ fingers in grandpa's poweraid ;)

Family picture at the dolphin show at sea world. It was such a cool show, Chloe loved the acrobats and when the dolphins jumped in the air saying, "look mommy!" every time something new happened.

Birthday Boy at Sea World. It was fun to spend Blain's birthday at sea world. We saw lots of animals and fun shows.

Blain and Benji had a joint birthday party making a perfect mess and enjoying every bite of their first cake! Benji was a lot more rambunctious in his cake eating, it was so funny to see the difference between the two boys. We swam in aunt Teresa's pool and ate yummy pasta, two of their favorite things!
