Call me Katniss

Nate and I went on an awesome date today! My friend Paula watched the babies while we went to Jake's Archery shooting range. We got to shoot at targets for about an hour, trying out different bows and seeing who was the sharp shooter. Nate is WAY better but I got a hit in the yellow on my first and last rounds. Afterwards we went to Olive Garden for lunch to use the gift card I got for Mothers Day. Overall a very fun day.

 On Tuesday we took a short little .6 mile hike to the Grotto. There was a little pond and waterfall and lots of rocks for Chloe to throw in the water. Chloe loved looking at all the bugs - spiders, rolly pollies and ants - and at the end we saw some horses which made it a perfect ending to a nice morning. Getting up early has some perks; we were the only ones there most of the time and got to walk around and enjoy the sound of the waterfall.
