Happy 1st Birthday Zeyta and father's day 2016!

Today was such a fun filled busy day! Zeyta had her very first baby birthday today and we celebrated having such a wonderful Daddy for Father's Day! Here are some highlights!

Pancake breakfast for the Birthday Girl!
Lots of baby help in getting his breakfast ready! They all wanted to carry something and pour milk and make pancakes. What good helpers!
I tried to be creative and piped the pancake batter in to the word DAD
Daddy and his babies - they sure do love their daddy! Funny Blain Story - so Blain was sitting on the couch on Aunt Molly's lap because he had gotten hit in the eye. He had an ice pack and his blue blanket and then told Molly that he wanted his feather jar. Well Molly doesn't like feathers so she told him no she didn't want him to sit on her lap with the feather jar. Blain's response to this was "Aunt Molly, sometimes you have to do things that you don't want to do". Oh man, what a cutie. I guess he does listen to things we tell him, lol!
 The smash cake!!
Getting a little more into it...
And finally after about 20 minutes she dug in and LOVED that chocolate cake!
All cleaned up after getting a little shower bath :)
Present time! Zeyta got such nice gifts from everyone! She got a baby doll, light up camera, pop up toy, swim floatie, a super soft bear and ball and cute little frog. I tried all day to keep her extra happy and give her tons of attention! Her brother and sisters were so sweet letting her play with any toy she wanted and trying to give her treats and snacks! I can't believe my baby is 1!

In other news...
Nate's recovery is going slow but steady. He has camped out on the couch and had the guys build him a little knee rest for his crutches so he can get around the house with just one crutch and still keep his foot up and off the ground. That will come in handy when I have to work because he can carry Zeyta and is much easier to maneuver through out narrow hallway.
Our first little batch of strawberries, all eaten within about 3 minutes of picking them!
