Carving Pumpkins: We waited til the last minute this year carving the pumpkins on Halloween Day. They lasted for about a day after we carved them so I'm glad we waited. I let them paint the little ones and draw what they wanted carved on the big ones.

Painter
Avenlea got to try painting for about 10 seconds before she stuck the paint brush in her mouth and had to have it removed. Still real cute with her pumpkin though!

Sweet Avenlea being so good next to the pumpkins.
Toothless
Princess Dragon Unicorn - without the wings, but I think the horn turned out pretty good! I even bought and used a glue gun for the first time. I feel so crafty!
Cutie pie right after we finished curling her hair - which stayed in for about 2 hours despite TONS of hairspray.
Close up of the curls and sparkles - Chloe puts that leotard on whenever she can and runs around the house dancing. I think I will get her a darker colored one for Christmas or her birthday, silly girl loves being "in her legs".

Blainy trick or treating
Blain stuck with me the whole night so that made me feel special. He got tired about 3/4 of the way through the loop that we did but he sure has been enjoying all the candy! Sadly we also lost his toothless tail somewhere along the way and couldn't find it despite backtracking twice :(
Chloe led the pack most of the night but she got tired out too toward the end. I need to remember to bring her a water bottle when we go, this is 3 years in a row she has asked for water and I never have any to give her. She likes to run for the first 10 houses or so then slows to a speed walk for a while. Chloe and Blain both did a really good job saying "thank you" and "Happy Halloween"
Em and Summer
Avenlea got passed around quite a bit which was nice for our arms to have a little break
The complete costume - she loved her wings from Uncle Sammy
Well, an attempt at a family shot...
Blain and Marie chowing down - Marie was so funny, she would speed pick as many candies as she could one at a time from the bowls until they pulled the bowl away or she was stopped by an adult. What a cutie.
Preschool Halloween Party: On Thursday Chloe had a party with her classmates. She loved telling me all about their costumes and trick or treating around to all her friends. They asked for no "props" so Chloe went as just Belle for school.
My big girl all ready for her Halloween Party
Crafts with Em: After preschool on Tuesday we went down to do some Halloween Crafts with Em. They built spiders, ghost footprints, and really sticky candy apples. It was a fun day topped off with yummy dinner in a pumpkin. It's so fun hanging out with Em and her cuties.
