Pumpkin Patch and Grandpa Ben

Jack's Pumpkin Patch: Last Tuesday we went with Em + her babies, Yuv & Dylan, Mom and all my babies to a free pumpkin patch in Springville. There were animal exhibits, a hay ride, slide and TONS of pumpkins to choose from. It was a fun time even if the kiddos all got a little cranky by the end of the day.

Chloe and Blain lost in the Hay maze!!
Me and some pretty cute kids I saw running around the pumpkin patch ;)

Blainito riding with the pumpkins we picked
Blain choosing a pumpkin - Chloe opted to go through a tall hay maze with Dylan rather than pick out a pumpkin

Goodbye to Grandpa Ben: Grandpa passed away this last week and the funeral was held on Friday in Simi Valley. I drove down with Mom, Em, Marie, Summer, Shamene and Dylan. It took 2 days, 2 hotels, and 14 hours but we made it all in one piece. It was so nice to be there with all the family and remember all the good times we've had with Grandpa. I will miss him but I'm happy that he gets to be with Grandma now after 10 years of being apart.
There was a really nice display of pictures at the funeral

Grandpa and almost all of his grandkids
The grandkids were asked to sing "Nearer my God to Thee" at the funeral (Anna, Caren, Stephanie, Wendy, Shamene, Katy, Emily, Chelsea, Randen, David, Robert, Spencer, Hunter)

Tim and Stacey let us sleep at their house on the way back. Tim was up with us at 4am to go do a PT test for the Army and Stacey was nice enough to bring out little Ammon after a feeding. Cute little Summer and Ammon with their uncles.
