Avenlea, Blain and Chloe
Little Pink Baby
Blain is so photogenic
Chloe picked out her own valentine's outfit and put it on all by herself
Chloe and Blain loved gluing on hearts to make valentines for Em, Ted, Marie and Uncle Sammy
Warmer Weather: It's been in the upper 30's and some 40's this past week and we've been playing outside every day. I move the pilot out of the driveway and they have fun races on their scooters and tricycles.

It must be love! We are both getting so excited for spring. The melting snow is making us even more anxious to start working on our homestead. Nate has been looking at buying an auger (motorized hole digger) and I've been working out the details in brooding our layers and broilers. We also may have a surprise farm addition tomorrow if all goes according to plan... 1 more week til our chicks arrive!!
what is brooding our layers and broilers? I love all your farming words that I don't understand! lol Did your chicks arrive?
ReplyDeleteBrooding is basically just keeping the chicks alive when they are babies (heat lamp, food, water, etc.) Broilers are the chickens we got for meat (they grow faster and are bigger). Yes they came and are super cute!
