Bridal Veil Falls

Bridal Veil Falls: First day of Nate's official summer break we drove up the canyon to bridal veil falls. Last year they put in a little fish pond and the babies loved feeding the fish. I'd say it was a good 1$ investment, they had tons of fun watching the fish swarm around them and eat the food. We also took a little climb down to the river to throw rocks, always a favorite :)

Sweet Chloe having lots of fun with the big splashes

She got SCARED when Daddy decided to climb down for a picture

The Garden: Looking big and beautiful, we have one tiny broccoli head, the kale is ready to eat if I ever get around to picking some, we have been enjoying lots of salads with home grown lettuce, and can't wait for the carrots to be ready to eat! Everything has now sprouted in the big garden, including the edamame! I'm super excited about this because last year not one single seed came up and now we have a full row of little seedlings. We left for three days and came back to all these lovely sprouts. The tomatoes have almost all started to flower as well. Still no buds from the peas but we'll just keep waiting and keep our fingers crossed. Update: When we went over today we saw flowers on the peas!! There were about 2 open and lots more getting ready to. I also planted the last hill in cantaloupe and plan on putting in the beans when we get back from vacation.

Play time: Still enjoying the warm weather (getting almost hot lately) and having tons of fun playing in Em's backyard. Nate bought the babies magnifying glasses to assist in their bug finding endeavors. They loved them for the 2 days they were intact.
Finally a picture of Blain smiling (sorta)

"Look mommy, an AIRPLANE!!" All the airplanes are going to see grandma in Florida and all the helicopters are headed to the hospital.
