Playtime

Now that the house is finished (on the market with 8 lookers so far...) Nate gets to come home after work and play with the babies. They love playing with their daddy! He is a chair, horsey, and daddy bear to name a few.

Happy Mothers Day! It was so nice getting to thank my mom for all she does as well as get a special treat from my family for being Mommy. The babies put their footprints in butterfly shape on a pot with star gazer lilies. I love it and will cherish it always. It was the perfect Mothers day gift, so I can remember their little feet before they get too big.

 

Looking for Land: we've been looking for land to start our homestead. After two failed offers on 5 acres in Heber we have now turned our interest to this 3 acre property with RIVER/STREAM and lots of character about 5 minutes out of town. Its right on the highway :( but we're willing to give it a try. Nate is busy finding out all the facts (does the well and septic work, can we build on it, zoning issues...) before we put in an offer but we plan to offer on it by the end of the week if all goes well. Yesterday we took a trip to visit it and I was sold almost immediately. Despite all the work it will need I love the space and year round water flowing through. It also backs up to big hills/mountains so it feels like hundreds of acres rather than just 3. Wish us luck!!

The garden continues to grow, I'm shocked how big everything is getting whenever I visit - about everyother day to check on the house and make sure the chickens are still safe, fed and watered.
