January Update

January has been a fun month with lots going on. Here are some of the fun times we've been having and some new exciting updates!


For Christmas Theron got the family season passes to Seven Peaks and Trafalga. We went on Martin Luther King Day with everyone. We played laser tag, ski ball, air hockey, rock climbed and ate lots of unlimited pretzels, slurpees, dippin' dots and chicken strips. Poor chloe got real tuckered out from all the fun and just couldn't keep her eyes open.

I had an ultrasound on Friday Jan. 21st. I found out I'm due June 26th, I'm 18 weeks pregnant and that the new baby is a BOY! The ultrasound pictures aren't the greatest but it still fun to see our baby boy/alien.

18 weeks

I took a trip down to Cali for my cousin Anna's wedding. I stayed with Wendy and Shamene, they were both very hospitable and made me way good food - especially when dad broke down and brought over some of his coveted tamales to go with Wendy's awesome enchiladas. The babies liked playing together, although Timmy is a little too strong for his own good and plays a little too rough for his little cousins. But overall it was some good bonding time for Chloe to be with my side of the family. Anna's wedding was nice and she looked beautiful. The day was suprisingly cold so I had to make a quick run to walmart to buy Chloe some tights for under her little dress so her legs wouldn't freeze. It was a fun week and Chloe even had her first ride on an airplane. She was REALLY well behaved, napping and playing on both trips quietly. Even though she was so good I don't think i will be traveling alone with a baby again if I can help it.

Chloe has been having a lot of firsts this month. She got her first and second tooth and also took her first steps! She was so good while teething and barely complained. Nate and I can get her to walk across the living room to us, but she still prefers to crawl so she needs lots of clapping and cheering as encouragement to keep walking.
