Schools out and holidays are over... now what?

So I figure I'll just do another little recap of what's been going on in the life and Katy and her perfect husband...

1. I went down to Cali for Christmas with my family before heading out to Florida. It was great to see everyone and carry out our family traditions like tamales on Christmas Eve, the living nativity and everyone sleeping in the same room the night before Christmas. There have been a few adaptations but it's still fun all the same.

2. Christmas was a blast. We ended up doing our little Christmas early on the 21st of December. Our big gift this year was a Wii! Nate had won it while doing summer sales and kept it a secret for 5 months (that's a big accomplishment for him). He got alot of tools which will hopefully keep him satisfied til next year, or at least his birthday.

3. Florida was fun and filled with beautiful weather, knertz and lots of games and sports. We did a gift exchange, ate tons of chocolatey treats and celebrated the birth of our Savior. Coming home from Florida was its own adventure. Our plane left about 2 hours late so we ended up missing our connecting flight in Texas and spending New Years Eve in a hotel with Nate's brother and a pizza while watching the ball drop an hour premature because of the time change. We waited all day New Years Day on Standby for a flight out to Utah and finally got on one at about 1 pm which was a blessing b/c it meant we didn't have to stay until 6 that night for our scheduled flight. I'm pretty sure I'm swearing off plane rides near the holidays from now on.

4. We are moved out of our cute little apartment and staying with Theron in his new Condo while Nate finishes all the necessary repairs on our new house. Yes, that means our house finally closed. Although it was about a month past our scheduled closing date, I can't complain becasue Nate promises to have it safe and looking nice before the baby comes. It's a little hard to see the house you just bought with bare walls and covered in rubble, but Nate can do anything so I know everything will work out

5. There is only about a month left until our little baby girl arrives! My tummy seems to be growing non stop and she loves to roll around right when I'm trying to fall asleep. My midwives say everything looks good, I just have to go to my weekly appointments and wait for the big day!

  1. Katy I found you! You are so cute pregnant. I can't wait to hear the good news about the baby.
